Individual Contribution Options
The designations for contributors are as follows:

State Capitol Club
The State Capitol Club is for those credit union supporters contributing over $100 to CUPAC/CULAC.

State Chairman's Club
The State Chairman's Club is for those credit union supporters contributing over $200 to CUPAC/CULAC.

State Presidential Club
The State Presidential Club is for those credit union supporters contributing over $300 to CUPAC/CULAC.

Each of the above three clubs will be recognized at special functions held throughout the year and at the annual summit.

Pacesetter Credit Unions
A credit union is recognized as a Pacesetter Credit Union if total contributions average at least $15 per staff member and volunteer at the credit union. For example. If the credit union has a total of 14 volunteers and staff members, and the total contributed is $210, the credit union would be considred a Pacesetter Credit Union

Buck a Member
CUNA Instituted the "Buck-a-Member" Program, which allows credit union members to designate a fixed contribution out of their account at the credit union on a regular basis. This is a great tool for credit union volunteers to particiapte in donating a set amount each month.

Payroll Deduction
Effective August 22, 2005, it is legal and permissible to use payroll deduction as a means of collecting contributions to CULAC from credit union employees. This presents an incredible opportunity for credit unions to increase PAC giving.

Coin Program
MPI coin, a respected supplier amoung credit unions nationally, provides a successful solution for CULAC Fundraising and is the perfect way to highligh the entire 50 state quarter program. Credit unions in the Dakota's have sold thousands of dollars in state coins since the program began and MPI has helped all along the way. Credit unions have seen great interest from their members in the state quarters each time they are released for sale. Some have been collecting them, while others have purchased them as gifts for their grandchildren. They make great and inexpensive tool for teaching youth about our states' history and geography.

CUPAC/CULAC
CUPAC is the Credit Union Political Action Committee, which raises funds for candidates on the state and national levels. A pre-determined amount of the funds raised are sent to CULAC, the Credit Union Legislative Action Council, which provides funding to congressional candidates.

A signed permission agreement must be on file in order for your credit union to participate fully in the solicitation of funds for CUPAC/CULAC. For a copy of the permission agreement, click on the pdf below.
