Credit unions in the Dakotas believe in the importance of financial literacy for all people, especially our young people. That's way credit union volunteers go into local schools to teach the basics of money management. During the 2005-2006 school year, credit unions in the Dakotas conducted 115 financial presentations reaching more than 3,000 students.
