Each year, recognition awards are presented in various categories. Based on presentations reported, the National Youth Involvement Board (NYIB) recognizes top individuals and states for their efforts in the classroom at the NYIB conference held each year in August. The statistics collected from the reports are valuable pieces of information for credit unions when faced with threats from other financial institutions. The numbers these reports pull show legislators the valuable work credit unions are doing to promote financial literacy as well as the commitment we have to financial education and the financial future of our youth.
